Fashionable Friday!
Happy Friday!! It's Fashionable Friday! I can't believe its June 1st! May flew by! Anyway for those of you who don't know about Fashionable Friday it's the first Friday of every month where I show how to create one of my designs step-by-step and it's a guest post for Crafty Mommy Diva! She also has another blog- Scrappy Girfts so go check her out! So lets begin with the nail art!
First paint your nails any color you would like, I chose Essence colour&go- A Lovely Secret.
Then put one black dot anywhere on your nail but not to close to the edges. I used a dotting tool but you can use whatever you have like the end of a paint brush or tooth pick, even the brush on the nail polish could work.
Then create five petals going around the middle. To make the petal you make two line the curve to a point at the end. I used a black Stripe Rite but a detail brush or an eye linner brush with black paint would also work.
Continue doing that in between the petals. These isn't a real pattern to this just have fun with it!
Once your whole nail has the petals all you need to do is put a top coat and you're done!
I hope you like these and if you try it out I'd love to see how they turn out! Have a great Friday! (:

orange flowers
Hi everyone!! I hope you're all having an awesome day! I think its time for a new camera... mine has been dropped so many times when I turn it off, and the lens is going in it makes this really odd sound like its going to break and the usb isn't working.. again! I'm on my second cord and I have had about three off the ones you just take the memory card and put it in the little transporter thing that you put in the computer but that doesnt even work at all any more. So I'm not sure what the problem is, if it is the usb plug in on the camera or the cords but hopefully I will get it figured out soon! For these nails I used two coats of Sa lly Hansen Xtreme wear- Sun Kissed then one coat of Wet n Wild fast dry- 9.0.2.1. Orange. To do the flower I used acrylic paints with a detail brush. Thanks for reading!(:

flowers
Hi everyone! These didn't come out how I wanted them but I think the point of them being flowers is there lol. First I put one coat of Wet n Wild Wild Shine- Black Creme then I put one coat of Ruby Kisses- RNP141. Then to do the flowers first I did all the outlines/silhouettes in white which was Sinful Colors- Snow Me White with a detail bush. Then to do the yellow flowers I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri- Lightening, China Glaze- Lemon Fizz and SinfulColors- firefly. To so the blue flowers I used Studio M- Whose That Girl, NYC in a minute- Water Street Blue and the same Ruby Kisses blue I used over the black. To do the leaves I used a Kiss brush on nail art paint and SinfulColors- HD Nails, and I mixed those with white so I could add some more detail to the leaves. Have a great rest of your day!!(:

fly away!
Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a fantastic day! I decided to finally try out butterfly wings! At the end of the summer these were really big, I tried it out once.. complete fail lol. So I gave it another go and whatta ya know! not bad huh?! hahahaa Well anyway first I painted my nails one coat of Rimmel London lasting finish pro- Posh Pink then I put one coat of China Glaze- Ahoy! (I must agree with the wonderful KarenD about punctuation in names, I don't like it). Then I used a black Stripe Rite to create the black outline for the wings then filled in the outside with black nail polish. I used SinfulColors- Snow Me White with a dotting tool to do the dots. I also thought these would fit the amazing weather we have been having! :D

neon gradient with zebra print
Its been so warm out the past week! It made me inspired to do something bright to my nails! First I put two coats of white with SinfulColor- Snow Me White so that when I sponged the neon colors they would show up with one coat. The yellow was China Glaze- Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, the light orange was American Apparel- Neon Orange, the dark orange was SinfulColors- Summer Peach, the dark pink was Color Club- Warhol and the light pink was SinfulColors- 24/7. Over that I put one coat of China Glaze- Luxe and Lush and then I did zebra print over that with a black Stripe Rite. I hope you all had a great day and hopefully are having great weather!(;

rawwwrrr
Some of you may be wondering why did she paint dinosaurs on her nails? or maybe you can't tell some of them are dinosaurs and were wondering what they were lol. I did these because on the 13th it was my nephew's 2nd birthday! I can't believe hes already two! Some of you might remember last year his birthday theme was Yo Gabba Gabba so I did my nails to match that and you can see those here! and excuse my uneven nails, I used to not care about that and messy cuticles now I really can't stand either hahahaa. Anyway for these nails I used acrylic paint to do the dinosaurs and a couple different colors for the background. First I painted them with two coats of American Apparel- Mannequin then I mixed that with Essie- Hot Coco and sponged it on. Then I went in with Hot Coco to darken up some spots and to add a little bit of shimmer which you can't really see in the picture but it is there lol I sponged OPI- Peach-a-boo in some areas. And by the way I just want to mention I think the dinosaur on my thumb has a broken neck... and one leg might be a little longer then the other.. but it just adds character, right? :P Thanks for reading!!(
