orange flowers

Hi everyone!! I hope you're all having an awesome day! I think its time for a new camera... mine has been dropped so many times when I turn it off, and the lens is going in it makes this really odd sound like its going to break and the usb isn't working.. again! I'm on my second cord and I have had about three off the ones you just take the memory card and put it in the little transporter thing that you put in the computer but that doesnt even work at all any more. So I'm not sure what the problem is, if it is the usb plug in on the camera or the cords but hopefully I will get it figured out soon! For these nails I used two coats of Sa lly Hansen Xtreme wear- Sun Kissed then one coat of Wet n Wild fast dry- 9.0.2.1. Orange. To do the flower I used acrylic paints with a detail brush. Thanks for reading!(:

flowers

Hi everyone! These didn't come out how I wanted them but I think the point of them being flowers is there lol. First I put one coat of Wet n Wild Wild Shine- Black Creme then I put one coat of Ruby Kisses- RNP141. Then to do the flowers first I did all the outlines/silhouettes in white which was Sinful Colors- Snow Me White with a detail bush. Then to do the yellow flowers I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri- Lightening, China Glaze- Lemon Fizz and SinfulColors- firefly. To so the blue flowers I used Studio M- Whose That Girl, NYC in a minute- Water Street Blue and the same Ruby Kisses blue I used over the black. To do the leaves I used a Kiss brush on nail art paint and SinfulColors- HD Nails, and I mixed those with white so I could add some more detail to the leaves. Have a great rest of your day!!(:

fly away!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a fantastic day! I decided to finally try out butterfly wings! At the end of the summer these were really big, I tried it out once.. complete fail lol. So I gave it another go and whatta ya know! not bad huh?! hahahaa Well anyway first I painted my nails one coat of Rimmel London lasting finish pro- Posh Pink then I put one coat of China Glaze- Ahoy! (I must agree with the wonderful KarenD about punctuation in names, I don't like it). Then I used a black Stripe Rite to create the black outline for the wings then filled in the outside with black nail polish. I used SinfulColors- Snow Me White with a dotting tool to do the dots. I also thought these would fit the amazing weather we have been having! :D

neon gradient with zebra print

Its been so warm out the past week! It made me inspired to do something bright to my nails! First I put two coats of white with SinfulColor- Snow Me White so that when I sponged the neon colors they would show up with one coat. The yellow was China Glaze- Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, the light orange was American Apparel- Neon Orange, the dark orange was SinfulColors- Summer Peach, the dark pink was Color Club- Warhol and the light pink was SinfulColors- 24/7. Over that I put one coat of China Glaze- Luxe and Lush and then I did zebra print over that with a black Stripe Rite. I hope you all had a great day and hopefully are having great weather!(;

rawwwrrr

Some of you may be wondering why did she paint dinosaurs on her nails? or maybe you can't tell some of them are dinosaurs and were wondering what they were lol. I did these because on the 13th it was my nephew's 2nd birthday! I can't believe hes already two! Some of you might remember last year his birthday theme was Yo Gabba Gabba so I did my nails to match that and you can see those here! and excuse my uneven nails, I used to not care about that and messy cuticles now I really can't stand either hahahaa. Anyway for these nails I used acrylic paint to do the dinosaurs and a couple different colors for the background. First I painted them with two coats of American Apparel- Mannequin then I mixed that with Essie- Hot Coco and sponged it on. Then I went in with Hot Coco to darken up some spots and to add a little bit of shimmer which you can't really see in the picture but it is there lol I sponged OPI- Peach-a-boo in some areas. And by the way I just want to mention I think the dinosaur on my thumb has a broken neck... and one leg might be a little longer then the other.. but it just adds character, right? :P Thanks for reading!!(

lines

Hi everyone! Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas out there! Its been almost a week since I've posted! I went to go post these on Thursday but of course my usb cord wasn't working so I was like ok I will just do it tomorrow well then on Friday I came home from school and realized I had this rash that was getting bigger on the left side of my leg. It was itching like crazy and it had some bruising which I still don't understand why, but it wasn't just like a little spot it went from my knee cap down to about my ankle with spots and was starting going around to my caff so I went to the emergency room. After getting my blood drawn and tested everything ended up ok and they just gave me some cream medicine to put on it. Then yesterday morning I woke up feeling horrible, I had a fever and soar throat with a runny/stuffed nose. Luckily my soar throat was going away through out the day then once I woke up today I was fine. I still had a fever but by about 2pm today it was gone. So I am sorry for the delay of posts! Anyway first I put two coats of white which was SinfulColors- snow me white then I put two coats of American Apparel- neon orange. To do all the lines I used a white Stripe Rite. I hope you all had a great day and weekend!(:

be creative and use your imagination

I hope you all had an amazing weekend! I was feeling creative when I was doing my nails and came up with this design lol I don't really know what it is so let your imagination take it away(; The purple is Essie- lilacism which took three coats to get opaque, but if you are super careful you mighttt be able to get away with two coats. It dried pretty quick since it is so thin though and it was send to me by SkinCareRx/Apothica/Skinbotanica. To do all the nail art I used acrylic paint with a detail brush. I kinda feel like the yellow ruined it but then I also think it adds a pop of color so overall I don't know, I think I just should have used a different color lol. Have a great rest of your day!

Fashionable Friday!!

Happy Friday! I am a little late with it but its only a couple hours after Friday! lol Either way I hope you all had a great Friday and hopefully are doing something fun over the weekend! If you don't know what Fashionable Friday is Im going to link you to this post so thank you Maryanne and don't forget to checkout her other blog! Today I am going to be showing you how to do these flowers which are very simple and great for beginners! The Deborah Lippmann nail polish was sent to me for review but I am going to have a separate post on that sometime this week. Either way I do love the polish, its so sparkly but it will be a huge paint to remove. Anyway onto the nail art!
First paint your nails with a base coat then choose a color of your choice. I used Deborah Lippmann- across the universe.
Then to create the flower start off with one dot
Then put two dots on the sides of the other dot but going down about halfway from the first dot we did. So basically just below the first dot on the sides. The white is SinfulColors- snow me white and I used a dotting tool to do the dots but you could just use a toothpick or the end of a paint brush.
Then make two dots making it a closed shape.
Fill in the flowers.
I decided to add some more detail in the flowers with acrylic paint but if you would like to keep it just white that would be cute to!

Dot the middle of the flower, I used Orly- stone cold.
Then I added three dots coming out of the flower at the tips of my nails.
Lastly add a top coat and you're done! I hope this helps and you like them! Have an awesome rest of your day!

pink roses

Hi everyone! I felt like I hadn't done roses like this in a while so that's what I decided to do. I used two coats of OPI- la paz-itively hot which could have used three but I didn't feel like waiting for the third coat to dry lol. I used a detail brush with acrylic paint to do the roses. I hope you all had a great day!(:
