blue glitter gradient
I felt like doing something really simple but wanted some glitter so whats better then a glitter gradient!? I thought these colors worked really well together also! I used Ulta salon formula- indigo-go girl (glitter) and bam-blue-zled. Maybe they are meant to go together since they both have hyphens in their names! Like a friendship bracelet or necklace! lol or maybe not... :P but I had to trim my nails, my thumb nail and ring finger on my right hand broke! I was sooo sad, once again hahahaa. I am also going to start taking better care of my cuticles! I have always know they are pretty gross to look at so I finally decided to do something about it! Hopefully I can stick to it!(;

hey sailor
Hi everyone!! I used China Glaze- hey sailor which is a mini that came in a pack of four from the Anchors Away collection that my friend gave me for my birthday which was on the 24th, so thank you Julia! I also used a black and white Stripe Rite to do the lines and I put a little bit of glitter over where the lines are using Santee nail art- white glitter. I dont understand why the name is white glitter when the glitter is actually like an orange-y gold/yellow glitter but whatever lol. I hope you are all having a great weekend so far! (:

Pop a bottle!
Hi everyone!! I hope you all had a great weekend and a start to a new week! I have done this type of nail art before but I did it in blue with the lines and dots in white which you can see here! For these I used one coat of American Apparel nail lacquer- mannequin then two coats of Icing nail polish- pop a bottle. To do the lines I used a black Stripe Rite and to do the dots I used different sized dotting tools with Wet n Wild wild shine- black creme. I actually think the name of Pop A Bottle fits the title name a lot this time! Like when a bottle pops it like ...splatters? ehhh? I dont know lol :P

attack of the dots
Hi everyone!! I feel like I havent talked to you all in forever! I have been busy with school... no funnn. We just got this project and I feel like im wasting my time with most of it but thats just my opinion(; So I did these the other night, on the topic of school my inspiration was actually from another one of my teachers, she took a sewing class and made pajama pants out of this material and I tried it out on my nails! Once again my top coat smeared my dots but I just got a new one today so no more of that hopefully! Anyways I used NYC in a minute quick dry- water street blue for the background and the purple for the dots is Rimmel London lasting finish pro- wild orchid and the white is SinfulColors- snow me white. Have a great rest of your day!! (:

Devious flowers
I like all the contrast these have! The background color is Ulta salon formula- devious and I actually didn't use acrylic paint to do the flowers! The white is Rimmel London french tip pro and you might not be able to tell but I have a really light pink at the top of the petals which is Kleancolor nail to toe nail art decoration- baby pink. Coming out from the center on the petals is with an Art Deco- intense pink and the yellow in the middle of the flower is China Glaze- lemon fizz. I used three different greens to do the leaves, the main green is with a Kiss nail art paint then I kinda outlined it with an Art Deco- mint green then in the middle of the leaf I made a little line with a yellow Stripe Rite. I hope you're all having a great weekend!(:
purchase of the day!!!
I was soooo excited about this! Last weekend I went to the mall and they opened an American Apparel store so of course I had to stop in and see if they has nail polish since I didnt have any and I have seen them all over blogs! I wanted to get this post up last weekend but its better late then never!:p Normally one bottle is $6 but they had 2 containers of nail polishes for $3 and then one container with nail polish being soild for $1!! Im pretty sure she said the $3 ones were half off because they were being discontinued. Some were a dollar because they werent packaged right, my guess is the pigments mixing together was off because if you look you can see the color is all messed up but the lady working there said I could open and test them if needed so opened it up and looked at it and on the inside it was fine!
The neon orange was $3 and the other four were $1 each making the total $7.65 and normally one is $6! How amazing is that!(; If you have an American Apparel store I defiantly think you should check it out!!
Cameo Blue
Factory Grey
Mannequin
Rose Bowl
Neon Orange
2% Milk
I really like the Wet n Wild megalast nail polishes! I think overall the nail polish is great, the formula is so easy to apply which I think is partly the big brush which I love! This is two coats 2% Milk and for the tips I used a Stripe Rite to make the smile line then filled it in with SinfulColors- snow me white. I also used a black Stripe Rite to do the lines and a silver glitter Kiss nail art paint. Really simple but I still like it(;

blue bows
I hope you all are having a good week so far! For these I used American Apparel- cameo blue for the back ground and it only took one coat! Im so impressed this nail polish and it dried fairly quickly! For the big blue glitters I used Klean Color- starry night and to do the bows I used acrylic paint with a detail brush. Thats it! Have a great rest of your day!(:

Cupcakes for Autism!
Today I have something exciting to share! Back in about February I think my one teachers asked if I would like to help at this event to help raise awareness and donate to Autism. Some of you know in October we do the JDRF walk which is for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation because my twin brother has Type 1 Diabetes, so I was happy to get involved with another event like that! The cupcakes were being sold to raise money and so were t-shirts and other stuff. I went to go paint girls nails and put a cupcake on them! I sadly didnt get any good pictures of their nails im so sad they all came out blurry! But I had help from my friend, mom and another one of my teachers who was going to be there anyway and offered to help. We must have painted about 75 nails if not more it was crazy but fun! I would be happy to do it again or anything like it! Well I think thats it and if you would like to know the name of a polish I used feel free to ask! Have a great rest of your day!

Fashionable Friday!!
Happy Friday! Today I'm going to show you how to get this nail art! Remember you could always just pull pieces of this nail art out and do that or do it all to get this look, just have fun! If you dont know what Fashionable Friday is you can read this post, thank you Maryanne!
First paint your nails a light pink then do a white side swipe across the top of your nail. I used SinfulColor- easy going for the pink and Rimmel London french white top pro for the white.
Make large pink dots for the rose, I used a dotting tool but you can use a bobby pin or cut a toothpick to its not such a pointy tip. I used SinfulColors- pink forever.
Create pink lines going vertical on the white side swipe. You can cut a paint brush or use an old eye liner brush, I used a Kiss nail art paint- soft pink.
Put a line of silver glitter in between the light pink and white I used a Kiss nail art paint.
Create the green leaves, its best to think of them kinda like an elongated tear drop. I used another Kiss nail art paint.
To actually create the rose using a small detail brush with acrylic paint I just made little lines on the pink dot. Start off in the middle with two lines curving into each other just not connected then just work your way out. You could use a tooth pick for this too just leave the pointy tip.
Then I put a little yellow line in the middle of the leaf using a Stripe Rite.
Lastly apply a top coat, especially if youre using paint because it can wash off. But thats it and your done!
I hope you all like this and have a great rest of your day! (:

side flowers
Hi everyone! I hope youre all having a great day!! On Monday I stared school again from a week off for spring break so im getting back into the swing of things, even if I would like some more sleep :P Anyway I felt like it was time to livin things up with a neon! I chose to go with China Glaze- yellow polka dot bikini, I put a coat of white first then two coats yellow polka dot bikini. Of course the color is kinda off but once again my blog isnt exactly for the purpose event though it annoys me(greatly). To do the flower I used a black and white Stripe Rite and the gold glitter is a Kiss nail art paint. I think its funny when you wear such a bright color and you can tell when youre talking to someone and they are looking at your nails but dont say anything lol(; Has that ever happened to any of you before? (:

Beetle
Hard Candy- Beetle is such a unique color!! I decided to do this nail art over it that I have seen on Youtube a couple times. As you can probably see my nail art ran together when I put top coat over it! Dont you hate when that happens!? I've noticed the top coat I have has been doing this to a lotttt of my nail art and when you use acrylic paint it just takes it off. Ill be doing a review on it some time soon. To do the lines I used a Stripe Rite and I used a dotting tool to do the dots. The white is SinfulColors- snow me white and the black is Wet n Wild- black creme. Heres some more pictures of Beetle in a slide show with no nail art, two coats.
