A scattered post.

You know those days where you just go the entire day thinking about what to do to your nails? Well.. maybe not but I do! lol I was having one of those days when I painted my nails with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear- coral reef then did the flowers with acrylic paint and thats it! Now I have some tragic news................ my pinky nails corner chipped off! I was shutting the drawer and next thing you know the corner was just hanging there! I was so upset I came down the stairs yelling like in a stereotypical omg she broke a nail situation, but I think it was worse... I was pretty devastated lol. I have gotten a few comments asking to see my nails without polish and to be honest I wasnt very happy with how they looked without polish for the longesttttt time so I just havent showed them. Now im ok with how they look, could they be better, of course but here they are before I cut them without a base coat or anything. You can see my one pinky nail broken off too...

Now how they look after I cut them and have a base coat on
Now that you all can see my bare nails I hope you like it and its something different!(:

I also want to thank Karen over at Frazzle and Aniploish for giving me the One Lovely Blogger badge!! She doesn follow rules so she didnt give me any and I just want to say thanks for giving it to me! I have gotten it before too if you would like to read that you can go here when it was with a couple other awards. Thank you again Karen! She has some amazing swatches and makes just about every glitter look a-ma-zing! For example this, this and this!

I also wanted to mention I got a new storage set up for my nail polish! Which im pretty excited about and it starts with an H for all you addicts out there(; that should be up soon!

I hope you all liked this and thank you all so much for reading, joining me and leaving such nice comments! It means a lot to me! :D

silver leopard print

Hi everyone! I was inspired to do these from my teachers shoes at school, my friend Karina actually gave me the idea. I know you're reading this now so hi! and say hi to Ria for me(; I havent done a leopard print like this before and I was pretty happy with the turn out, I think they're cute! I used China Glaze- icicle for the silver then for the blue spots I used Studio M- whose that girl and the pink is Wet n Wild- dream poppy. I used acrylic paint with a detail brush to outline the spots.

blue fading with zebra print

I am really liking these!! lol I think mainly because I havent done zebra in a while but I used Essie- mint candy apple mainly then for the darker blue I used SinfulColors- fly away. I used a black Stripe Rite to do the zebra stripes. Thats it!
Would anyone be interested in seeing some of the art work I have done?? I have had a couple comments about if I draw so I was wondering if I should make a video/slide show of some of the art work I have done. Let me know! (:

stripes

Hi everyone! Yesterday I decided to do this nail art which I havent done anything like it before! First I painted my nails a coat of white with SinfulColors- snow me white then I did the color blocking with Kiss nail art paints- soft pink, soft purple, soft blue and beach pink. I separated the colors with a black Stripe Rite and did the nail art with acrylic paint and a detail brush or dotting tool. Have a great rest of your day!!

flowers

I was inspired to do this by Maria and you can see her nails here! I guess this is like a lot of my flowers now looking at it.. I must have just wanted to add dots and switch them around on my nails lol. I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear- pacific blue for the background color and acrylic paint for all the nail art. I hope you have a great rest of your day! Thanks for reading!(:

white with black flowers

I havent done something just white with black and simple like this in such a long time! I was going to fill in the flowers with a color but then I decided not to and just leave it like this. The white is SinfulColors- snow me white and the black in acrylic paint with a detail brush. I hope you all had a great day, today I went to Chicago(I live about an hourish away) and went to the four story Ulta! We also went ice skating and went to the bean at Millenium Park. But I wanted to show all you nail addicts like me what they had(; I was actually kinda disappointing this is all they had but it was still cool to go into a four story Ulta! the fourth floor was the salon part so technically it three floors of products.

"the nail bar" which had all the nail polishes except high end (second floor)
nail polish on both sides- high end [(third floor) expect Butter London was on the first floor]
three sided- collections (third floor)
Here are a few pictures from the day!

blue glitter with flowers

Hi everyone! Last night when I did my nails I used Ulta salon formula- alter ego then while that was still wet I poured blue craft store glitter over it. The white is SinfulColors- snow me white and the purple is Wet n Wild mega last- on a trip in the middle of the flowers. I did the lines with a white Stripe Rite. Have an awesome rest of your day!

paisley

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Today was one of those days where I had no clue what to do to my nails! I sat around the whole day trying to figure it out! I finally came up with doing a paisley pattern, I dont know why and how I got this idea but I did and I went with it! I used Revlon- stary pink which I love!! It did take three coats but it dried fairly quick and was easy to work with! The paisley pattern takes away from how pretty it is but thats ok. I also used black acrylic paint with a detail brush and dotting tool.. Have a great rest of your day, thanks for reading!!(:

Fashionable Friday! stained glass

Happy Friday! For today's Fashionable Friday I'm going to show how I got this stained glass look! If you dont know what Fashionable Friday is check out this post!
First paint your nails with a base coat to help the polish last longer and then paint them white. I used one coat of SinfulColors- snow me white.
Then take a thin brush with black nail polish or paint and start creating random shapes. I started from the bottom of my nail with a triangle most of the time then worked from there. I used a black Strip Rite.
Continue making random shapes all over your nail...
Once that's finished you want to pick out a few nail polish colors to fill in the shapes, I chose six.
Start to fill in the shapes randomly with your colors. This is an Art Deco- red.
Repeat that with your other colors. The orange is an Art Deco- bright orange, the yellow is a Stripe Rite and the pink is a Kiss nail art paint- beach pink.
Once you have everything filled in wait for it to dry. The blue is a Kiss nail art paint- soft blue, the purple is Kleancolor nail to toe nail art decoration- baby lavender and the green is an Art Deco- mint green.
Add a top coat to even everything out and give it a nice shine! It can also help you manicure last longer!
I hope you all have a great rest of your day!! Thanks for reading!(:
