  Yesterday I went to Sally's after school and got China Glaze- flip flop fantasy!!! Yay! Its on my toes now too! My picture doesnt do this color justice at all but you get the idea and you can see the nail art. I used Acyclic paint to do it all with a detail brush and dotting tool. Hope for a Cure

 I have a twin brother and he has Type 1 Diabetes, which is where your Pancreas has stopped producing insulin. My brother is now on a pump(you can look that up if you are interested(:) but when he was first diagnosed while they were getting his blood sugar under control and stuff he had to take a shot everyday about 6 times a day. every time he ate something. and check his blood sugar every time he ate which is pricking your finger. Every year we walk for JDRF which stands for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at the beginning of October so get ready for some nail art then too! This was for Diabetes art day and I chose to do my nails of course(: I just wanted to share the nails I did and I figured I would give some background knowledge in case you didnt know what Type 1 Diabetes is. Oh and this is what my mom wanted to do I just helped her with it. Those are the syringes.

I wanted to use my new Essie- mint candy apple but I had no clue what to do over it! and when it all comes down to it I go with flowers, so thats what I did! I tried like a hibiscus flower and thats what I got, im happy with it lol I used acrylic paint and a detail brush to do the flower. and I just realized I forgot the dots at the end of the middle stem part... oh well thats ok. The prize I won!

I won Konad Addicts giveaway and I want to give her a huge thank you!!!! It was actually the first giveaway I entered and the first one I have won!! When she emailed me around the first week of August telling me I won I was soooo excited!!! I got to pick four Essie nail polishes so I chose- mint candy apple, knockout pout, hot coco and not show in the picture is haute as hello but it was on back order so its probably going to be sent as soon as its back in stock and that is completely understandable!(: 
   

lace one more time!

I wanted to try lace again and this time make the flowers smaller and make it a little more exciting. lol So I did a lilac color as the base which is Revlon top speed- lily and then I put the lace over that with some glitter. I used a black nail polish to do the flower and for the lines I used a Stripe Rite- black. Over that I put glitter which was Wet n Wild wild shine- kaleidoscope. I hope you all like these and have had a fantastic Friday!!(:

I feel like I havent blogged forever! I have been pretty busy lately getting school stuff ready and then actually going and then yesterday once I finished my nails I had to bed since today was the first day of school! I got like five hours of sleep and when you compare that to like 10-12 hours you are like exhausted by the time you get home! anyway im blogging now and hopefully ill get on a good schedule! Onto the nail art! I used Rudy Kisses-RNP141 for the dark blue then over that I put Santee- emerald. I did the actual nail art with acrylic paint a detail brush and a dotting tool.

pink fading into yellow with a flower

I felt like doing something bright and fun after that nude lace! First I put a coat of white then I sponged Sally Hansen complete salon manicure- shrimply devine and then the yellow which is Sally Hansen insta-dri- lightening. I had to go back with the pink and yellow with the make up sponge just so it would fade better. I also chose to put some glitter, on the pink is Sinfulcolors- pinky glitter and the glitter over the yellow is Finger Paints- psychedelic sunshine. I used acrylic paint and a detail brush to do the flowers and the middle is the same pink I used before with a dotting tool. Thank you for reading and commenting it makes my day!!(:

My lace nails!! I have been wanting to try these for a while but I always thought it was going to be really hard so I never did them but I decided today to try it out and I think they turned out pretty good! Of course there are some mistakes but over all im happy with it! I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri~ quick sand as the nude background color and for the black flowers I used Rummel London Lasting finish PRO~ black satin with a dotting tool. To do the lines I used a black Stripe Rite. Have a great day!

Seven things about me:

1) I hate how people close the door when your at school taking a test... Like when another class is in the hall way or something and they are making nose and then someone needs to close the door I hate it!! I feel like then if you sneeze or make a sound you sound like a big monster or something lol 

2) Some nail pictures on blogs just annoy me like if its so far away you cant even see the nail art or color and when the pictures are blurry. Now im not saying once in a while you cant have a blurry picture thats totally fine! but if you have a blog about nails they sound at least show your nails!

3) I got my cartilage pierced about two weeks ago! I have my first and second hole pierced already, I got my first holes pierced in first grade and my second holes in fourth grade.

4) My nail polish collection is mainly made up of pinks and blues. 

5) I also really dont like when people put huge rhinestones and those acrylic pieces on there nails. Personally it looks like the nail is like getting taken over by stuff! but if they like it thats fine its not my nails... I dont mind like one little one on maybe like one finger or rhinestones that actually fit and look proper. hahahaa 

6) School starts on August 24th... Im so not ready for it to start though.

7) My favorite shape is a star!

doodles!

Doodles! Today I decided to try these out I saw a youtube video of just the lined paper and I though well thats to boring for me im going to "doodle" on it! lol so I hope you like these they are different from what I normally do. I used Ruby Kisses HD- HDP18 for the white and then an Art Deco- aqua and the line along the side is with a Santee nail art- warm pink. I used a detail brush with black acrylic paint to do the doodling. My dad didnt understand my nails so if you dont thats ok lol but im sure you are all "hipper" than my dad!:p have a wonderful day and thanks for reading!!

I just noticed I did leopard print on Sally Hansen xtreme wear~ pacific blue before but with light blue spots and today I did hot pink spots with Sinfulcolors~ 24/7. I outlined the spots with a detail brush and black acrylic paint. I hope you all like these and I am doing my nails tonight or tomorrow something interesting that I hope you all will like! I have came to the conclusion I am very creative when it come to naming my flower nail art lol:P at least you really know what the nail art is!:p I used one coat of Essence colour&go~ vip appeal then two coats of Wet n Wild fast dry~ 9.0.2.1. Orange and the middle is how I met your magenta. On a side note Wet n Wild has some awesome costumer service if you ever have a problem. They get back to you in a reasonable amount of time, and are very nice. I had a couple nail polishes from there mega shine line that took about three coats and the drying time was horrible so I contacted them about it and they let me pick new ones from any of the three lines and they threw in a glitter for me! Now im not saying just say your nail polish is bad to get more(even though I dont think any of you would do that) but I am saying they are veryyy nice, I have been meaning to say that for a while now but its better late than never right?!(; Ok so back to the nails- to do the flowers I used Acrylic paint with a detail brush and a dotting tool for the middles. Stars!

I have wanted this nail polish for so long!! Well now I have it! lol Its Revlon- not so blueberry it is scented and it really is. If I put it up to my nose you can smell it personally I dont really like the smell but maybe you will since everyone had different noses! but I do like the color! I did the stars and dots with a detail brush and black acrylic paint I also went back in and highlighted the starts a little bit with silver acrylic paint.

I did these last night I started to do them and about 1:30 and finished around 3:00(yes I know I was doing my nails very late but im on summe break! hahaha) I did those four and my thumb but I didnt get a good picture of my thumb anyway so I went to go to bed and said I will just finish them in the morning, I didnt think my nails would take that long because they never do. Well this morning I finished about a finger and a half and decided I didnt really even like the pandas that much and took it all off. Im a righty but I start off doing my nails with my left hand even when im painting a color, does anyone else do it like that? Last night I also had a nail fail so I think I was having some bad luck.

I have done owls before and today I decided to put a spin on it and use different colors. The pink is Sinfulcolors- 24/7 and the blue is Sally Hansen xtreme wear- pacific blue. The white is Ruby Kisses HD- HDP18 and the black is Rimmel London lasting finish pro- black satin. I also used a white Stripe Rite to do the "'V's" for the feathers, on her eye and her beak. The color for her beak is a mix of Orly- charged up and Revlon top speed- lily. Also on the feathers I used a Kiss striper in beach pink. I did my friend Julias nails today. She chose the color blazed by Wet n Wild and then wanted white zebra print over it and that was with a white Stripe Rite. Then on top of that I put a light coat of Kleancolor- gold shimmer(:

This is my rainbow sponging zebra print I have seen it on so many blogs lately!! So I wanted to try it out for myself! First I put two coats of Ruby Kisses HD- HDP18 and then I sponged Sinfulcolors- feeling great and fly away, Sally Hansen hard as nails- sun kissed, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri- lightening, Art Deco- bright green and Orly- charged up. Over that I put Icing- glamorous and then the zebra print with a black Stripe Rite. I hope you like them and have an awesome day!!(:

Dragon fly?

Todayyyy I decided to do something a little different then I normally do and I chose a bug? yes a bug... but a cute bug right? well I hope so at least?! hahaa I wanted to do something really glittery so I went with two coats of Wet n Wild wild shine- caribbean frost and then two coats of Love & Beauty- green(why this glitter is called green I have no clue because its not green its turquoise I promise) and then one more coat of Sinfulcolors- nail junkie. To do the Dragon Fly I used white acrylic paint with a dotting tool and a detail brush. I filled the wings in with OPI- teal the cows come home and in the middle of the wing with the OPI color mixed with Ruby Kisses- RNP141 and then Santee- emerald glitter over the wing(why this glitter is called emerald I have no clue because its blue, these people need to work on there colors...lol). Then I went over the dots with an Art Deco- silver glitter. Over all this was one of the easiest nail arts I think I have done. If your starting out with nail art this will be perfect to practice I think! and this is going to be sooo hard to take off but thats ok I love glitter!! Fashionable Friday! fading with a flower

Today for Fashionable Friday which is where I do a post for Maryanne over at Crafty Mommy Diva and she has a lot of interesting posts! I do this post the first Friday of every month showing how to do some nail art step-by-step. She also has another blog called Scrappy Gifts check em out if you would like to(:

What you need:

~four shades of purple or a dark & light purple and white then you can just mix shades 

~a detail brush/small paint brush (you can cut a regular paint brush as well)

~glitter- optional 

dont forget you can use whatever colors you want to!

Onto the nails!!

Paint all your nails the lightest color of the bunch.

Sponge your nails the second to lightest color about 3/4 of the way down and if you go down to far dont worry about it we can go back in and fix it later!

Now sponge your third color about 1/3 of the way down just so that the second to lightest color is peaking through.

Sponge the darkest color just at the tips. If you feel like you went a little far down to the bottom of your nail take the lightest color and sponge that from the bottom going up a little bit. Then thats it with the sponge!

If you want you can add glitter I like to because it helps the fading fade better I think. 

You can stop there and you have really cute nails or continue and add a flower!

To do the flower all you have to do is start at the top make a circle (try to mine never come out exactly like a circle no flowers are the same!) then just point it off (the point doesnt have to be perfect the middle is going to cover it) do that in a circle rotating where the point is.

Add a couple dots in the middle or just add a big dot like I did on the other fingers with the smaller flowers. I also put the second to lightest color on the flower just coming out of the middle. You could just make one flower on your ring finger or thumb. 

What I used:

~Revlon- lily (lightest)

~OPI- planks a lot (second to lightest) 

~Orly- charged up mixed with white (third lightest)

~Orly- charged up mixed up a little bit of Rimmel London lasting finish pro- purple rain (darkest)

~Ruby Kisses HD- HDP18 (white)

~NYC long wearing nail enamel- stary silver glitter

~Detail brush: Loew-Cornel 5/0 American Painter 4650 Spotter (can be fond at Micheals and probably online)

sunflowers!

I did some sunflowers! They were tricky to do but I tried my best!(: I used Sally Hansen xtreme wear- caribbean coral and the yellow is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri- lightening. The brown ish yellow in the flower is SinfulColors- unicorn mixed with Kleancolor- dark brown and the dark brown is what I used in the middle with some black dots in the middle. I hope you like them and are having a fantastic day!
