French Tip Manicure
I did a french tip manicure and on my ring finger I put a little feather design. First I put two coats of Sally Hansen maximum growth- sweet tulip then I put one coat of Avon- cotton candy (I think it isnt sold any more) and lastly I put one coat of Avon nailwear pro- sheer vanilla pink. To do the tip I used a Stripe Rite- white to outline my tip then I filled it in with Sinfulcolors- snow me white. To do the design on my ring finger I used a black Stripe Rite then Over that I used a detail brush and Sinfulcolors- nail junkie to go over the black. Then I put a dot where all the colors meet with Sinfulcolors- fly away. Lastly over all that I put Sally Hansen diamond strength- diamonds.

Zebra print
Last night I did zebra print for me since I have done it so many times and had a lot of practice it was fast and easy for me to do because I was in such a rush and I really like zebra print! I used Wet n Wild wild shine- french white creme and to do the print I used a Stripe Rite- black. Then to add something else I put some glitter using an Art Deco- silver glitter. If you want to see how I do zebra print just click here even though in that I only did half my nail just to the same steps going straight and on the whole nail, I am hoping soon I will just show how to do it like this. I hope you like it!

Squares
In the picture above was my inspiration to do this which I really like! First I put one coat of Wet n Wild wild shine~ french white cream then I put one coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri~ lightening. To do the squares I used NYC Long-wearing nail enamel~ times square tangerine creme and Sinfulcolors~ cream pink with a detail brush but before I put the pink I put white so it wouldnt end up looking orange. Then I used an Art Deco~ gold glitter over both of those. The picture is from Facebook its not mine I just though I would show where I got my idea but sorry its blurry. :)

Lots of swirls
I have done swirls before again like the past three designs... but I changed it this time kind of instead of having the swirls coming out of the side of my nails they are all connecting. I am going to start being more creative, I have some ideas too! I used Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers- black (one coat) so I wouldnt have to do so many coats of Wet n Wild Fast Dry- gray's anatomy (two coats). Then to do the design I used white Acrylic Paint and over some of the swirls I put Art Deco- silver glitter. This color is a very unique duo-chrome but in these pictures you cant really see because of the swirls on top.

Flying Hearts
I tried to make a heart with wings on it but my nails arent wide enough or my heart/wings arent small enough so you cant really see the wings but I still like it. First I put two coats of Wet n Wild wild shine- french white creme I just did that because at the time I wasnt sure what I was going to do and I almost always start out with a white base needed anyway but this time I didnt. Then I put one coat of Sally Hansen diamond strength- mille fleurs and then I painted the heart with wings with the white nail polish and a detail brush. Over the heart with wings I put silver glitter which was an Art Deco- silver glitter. The picture I was inspired to do this was......

Fashionable Friday! Valentines Day
Today I am going to show you how to make a heart and a sponging effect in the background.
What you need:
~3-4 shades of one color I choose pink
~one glitter polish
~1 bobby pin or a tooth pick
~base/top coat
~Q-tips and nail polish remover (if needed)
What to do:
Paint you nails with a base color which would be the lightest color in you color scheme.
Now pick the next color and mix it with clear nail polish(top coat) and just kind of stipple it on your nail.
Continue to do with the rest of your colors.
Now go back to your base color, mix it with clear and stipple that over some spots. Now that the background is done we can do the hearts and dots with your bobby pin or tooth pick (I think the bobby pin would work best because it has that little ball on the end). Make a dot and then drag it down you might have to go over it twice but make sure you have a good amount or nail polish on your bobby pin so it will drag.
Do the same to the other side and if there is a gap in the middle just make a dot or two over it.
Now you can make a couple dots with the same color as the heart and with some glitter if you want. Remove the nail polish on the sides of your nail add a Top coat and your done!
The base color I used was Sinfulcolors- easy going and the other colors to stipple on I used Avon speed dry- carnival, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear- bubblegum pink, Sinfulcolors- pink forever, Sinfulcolors- feeling great and Kleancolor- sweet pink. The silver glitter did not have a brand or a name on it. I hope you like this or try it out!
Thank you so much Maryanne for letting me do these Fashionable Fridays!! If you want to go follow her at Crafty Mommy Diva or Scrappy Gifts she does amazing crafty things and Scrap book related iteams!
Valentines day
Well now looking at the pictures I dont think it is that bad but I did not like these that much, I did like the "love" on my thumb and those hearts/dots on my ring finger but the other six fingers I didnt like. It looked kind of messy and squished together. The base color I used was Sinfulcolors- easy going and then for the other colors to do the background was Sally Hansen Xtreme wear- bubblegum pink, Sinfulcolors- feeling great, Kleancolor- sweet pink and Nite Lites glow in the dark- pink flaminglo. The white I used was Acrylic Paint with a detail brush and to outline the hearts I used a red but there is no name or brand on it and I used a dotting tool for that. The color for the dots are Sinfulcolors- feeling great.

Snow!
This morning I was trying to think of what Valentines day things to start doing on my nails because I wanted to start doing that now until Valentines day February 14th but then it stated to snow a LOT! Then I wanted to do something with snow in it but I didnt really want to do just snowflakes. I decided to do a tree with snow on the ground and falling. Even though I dont like all this snow I still like to do my nails having snow on them! We are supposed to be getting a foot or two or snow well, something close to that so I made the snow on my nail going up pretty far up. Anyway The blue is Piggy Polish- blue me a kiss and the white is Wet n Wild wild shine- french white creme but for the snow in the sky I mixed that with NYC French Manicure- string of pearls so its not as harsh of a white. The tree color is Kleancolor- dark brown. I used two different glitters for the snow on the ground I used Sally Hansen Diamond Strength- diamonds and in the sky I put dots of Pure Ice- beware.
