New years

I wrote 2010 on my pinky, the ball dropping on my ring finger, a fire work on my middle finger, Champagne glass on my pointer finger and thumb but since my thumb is bigger I had more room so I wrote 2010 on the side and I also put glitter around both nails. The black is LA Colors- black velvet. The white I used was Pure Ice- super star! I used that with a detail brush the gold is a 2 way nail art pen and brush. I mixed LA Colors Art Deco- gold glitter and Kleancolor- gold shimmer for the glitter on all my nails.

Nail dryer and nail polish

I got this for Christmas from my Aunt its a nail dryer and it comes with seven nail polishes six of them are colors and one is a top coat. They dont have names so theres a clear which is the top coat, frosty pinky beige, darker pink with a fuchsia shimmer reflect, bright red, silver glitter, deep brown base with a red-brown shimmer and a charcoal base with a lot of silver shimmer. This is from Walgreens there is no name on the nail dryer but on the nail polishes say the color workshop. I do like this nail dryer it does work so it drys your nails faster so thats good. I also like how there are nail polishes that come with it they arent full size but there are seven in there so you dont really need full sizes. The dryer is underneath the nail polishes and theres an area on the bottom that you push down and air comes out of the fan which you can kinda see in the picture. If you are looking for a nail dryer than I think this would work nicely. Hope this helped!

Silver glitter swirls

I made silver glitter swirls on top of a dark shimmery purple. The purple was an OPI mini so im not sure what the name or what collection it came out with. I used 3 different silver glitters first I made the swirls with Pure Ice- beware then on top of that I put LA Colors color craze- sparkling diamonds. The round big glitters are Cover Girl boundless color- disco dazzle. I used a detail brush to make the swirls and I used that detail brush to put on the glitters. This reminds me of streamers or confetti.

Fire works and Martini glasses

Well I decided to start doing new years nail art I might be a little early but theres only a week untill the new year! Today I made a fire work and martini glass in a pattern on my nails. The purple is Sally Hansen complete salon manicure- purple pulse and the silver glitter is from this nail dryer set from Walgreens it didnt have a name but on the bottle the nail polish says The Color Workshop Nail Polish. For the fire work I used Art Decos- Intense pink, bright orange and magenta I also used two Stipe rites- white and like a bright Yellow and Orly Instant Artist- sky blue. The white Stripe Rite and Orly blue was what I used to make the drink. I also cut my nails so now they are a bit short but as I have said before I like to cut them when they get really long and I havent cut them in a while.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I combined most of my nails art for Christmas and you can see the Santa face with his cheeks or without them I like it better with the red cheeks. My ring finger and thumb are both Santa faces so I though that just one picture would be fine. If you want to see what I used you can just go to the post that I did on them. The only difference is that my pinky (the penguin) the blue is Piggy Polish blue me a kiss and I did not put a santa hat on them. I put a collar on the reindeer and used a white back ground which was Pure Ice super star!. I hope you like it and have a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays! :)

Reindeer

This was by far the hardest color to get a good picture of!! Thats why there are four...well I did a reindeer on my ring finger and just left the others because I like this color so much. Its Ulta salon formula- bombshell. For the reindeers face I mixed Kleancolor- dark brown, Santee nail art- copper brown and Sally Hansen maximum growth- sweet tulip. The antlers are Kleancolor-dark brown but nothing mixed with that. LA Colors nail lacquer- black velvet is the black for the eyes and mouth and the red was Pure Ice- siren for the nose like Rudolph (you could use black for a regular reindeers nose). I hope you can see all the different colored sparkles in this nail polish! (click the picture to see it bigger)

Lights and a present

I made a strand of lights on all my fingers but on my ring finger I made a littler strand of lights and made a present. For the present the purple/red color is Ulta salon formula: material girl the green I used is Sally Hansen Xtreme wear: emerald city. White is Pure Ice: super star! black is LA Colors nail lacquer: black velvet. On the lights I used lots of different colors so the blue is Pure Ice: celestial, red Pure Ice: siren, yellow Ulta salon formula: sun-sation and the orange is NYC long wearing nail enamel: times square tangerine creme. I used a detail brush to make everything and I hope you could tell they were lights!

Christmas trees and other trees in the snow

Left hand

Right hand
On my ring finger I made a Christmas tree and on my other fingers I made a tree and just put ornaments or lights on it which ever one you think it should be in an outside scene. The back ground color is Piggy Polish- blue me a kiss the white is Sally Hansen Xtreme wear- white on. The Christmas trees colors are Sally Hansen Xtreme wear- emerald city, Sinfulcolors- innocent and I used a medium green 2 way nail art pen and brush I mixed those together and just made it look like the trees layers. The silver glitter, green glitter on the tree, gold and gold glitter are 2 way nail art pen and brushes. The brown for the tree trunk is Klean Color nail lacquer- dark brown. On the tree the pinkish redish color is Ulta salon formula- material girl the blue is Pure Ice- celestial.  To make the tree, snow and star I used a detail brush and a dotting tool for the dots.

Peppermint lolly pops

I made peppermint lolly pops with a bow on the stick. I did really want just a round peppermint on my nail so I turned it into a lolly pop! The back ground is Sally Hansen Xtreme wear- emerald city the white I used was Pure Ice- super star! the red is Revlon- cherry crush. For the bow I mixed the white and green together and for the middle dot I used the green but  didnt mix it with anything. The stick I also mixed white into Sally Hansen Xtreme wear- celeb city. On my pointer finger the peppermint is a little messed up if I would have noticed at the time when I was doing my nails I would have went back with the white and fixed it but I didnt really see that and its not that messed up so its ok. :)

Wreathes and Holly/Mistletoe

I made a wreath on every nail then on my ring fingers I put a holly or mistletoe whatever you want to call it. There are two close up pictures so you can see it better. The base color I used was one coat of Avon- nude gold the I put two coats of Ulta professional- 14 karat. For the green I used a lot of different greens but the main one I used was Sally Hansen- emerald city and the other green I used a little was Sinfulcolors- innocent. Pure Ice- siren was the red I used but before I made the red bow I made it in white so that you can see it was a red bow and not a weird brownish red type color.

Santa related things

Here is what the design looks like on both hands. I came up with the Santa hats but I saw this girl on youtube that did the face and the coat/belt of him and though why not do it all at one time! Even though the hats kinda look like party hats with confetti around it I think because Santa is there you can get the point of it being Santa hats....hopefully! All the pictures im about to show is on my left hand and when I put the top coat the nail polishes kinda smeared together.
Theres Santas face! 1st I painted my nail white with Pure Ice- super star!. 2nd I made the actual face with Sally Hansen Hard as Nails- sheer vanilla and Avon- nude gold but when I made the face I made sure not to make a straight line because the white on the bottom it his beard. 3rd I outlined and filled in the red hat with an Art Deco- red but made sure to leave room for the white fluffy part of the hat. 4th I made his eyes and mouth with a dotting tool and the brush of an Art deco- black. 5th sponged his cheeks on with Pure Ice- siren. It was actually and easy face to make!
Heres the Santa hats I used a detail brush to make the shape of the hat and a dotting tool to make the little fluffy fuzz. 1st I painted a coat of Pure Ice- super star! when that dried I painted a coat of Pure Ice- platinum. 2nd I made the hat with Pure Ice- siren and made the fuzzy stuff with the white. I outlined it with a detail brush and LA colors nail lacquer- black velvet. 4th put dots around the hats use a gold 2 way nail art pen and brush and the red I used in the hat.
The coat/belt of santa! This was the easiest design to do and it was fast. 1st I made two lines going down the sides of my nails with Pure Ice- siren then filled in the empty spaces with a red Art Deco. 2nd I made the black belt with a black Art Deco. 3rd I made the little buckle with a gold 2 way nail art pen and brush. 4th I put buttons with LA colors nail lacquer- black velvet with a dotting tool. These are also all very festive!

Gingerbread men

I made little gingerbread men on my nails! First I put a white nail polish which was Pure Ice- super star! then over that I put Ulta professional- 14 carat. For the eyes I used that white and the black I used was LA colors- black velvet. The mouth was Pure Ice- siren and the buttons were the white again and then in the middle I put little lines of Orly Instant Artist- sky blue. Around his or hers I guess is the frosting which was a nail polish that I made but its nothing special any barbie/medium pink would work. For the body I mixed Sally Hansen maximum growth- sweet tulip and Kleancolor- dark brown. I used a toothpick, dotting tool and a detail brush. Hope you like it!

Penguin in a santa hat

I did a penguin with a santa hat! I have been wanting to do a penguin for a while now and I got the santa hat idea from youtube. For the back ground I used Claire's: true blue then over that Maybelline express finish: no name but its like a shimmery blue glitters with a light blue translucent base. The white I used was Pure Ice: super star! the striper in white I used was Rimmel London French White Tip PRO: 110 french white nail tip linner. The black was LA colors nail lacquer hardener: black Velvet the striper I used was LA colors Art Deco: black. NYC long wearing nail enamel: times square tangerine creme was the orange I used the red was Sally Hansen Hard as Nails: bombshell. Hope you like it!

(white) Rimmel London wear 10- black satin, Stripe Rite- black and Art Decos in- bright green, red and bright orange. The silver glitter is a 2 way nail art pen and brush.

Snow flakes

I used Ulta- blue for you and a white stripe rite. Also a 2 way nail art pen and brush that was silver glitter. Hope you like it!

Icey Snow

This is just like my silver fading glitter and pink fading glitter! So I decided to do blue for snow! On my ring finger is a snowflake and I did put silver glitter over that to. I used Pure Ice- super star! as the white for a base for the glitter/snow. Then I used 5 different blue glitters so its just all on there but the main glitter I used was Pure Ice- strapless. The other blue glitters were an Art Deco- blue glitter Sinfulcolors- hottie Santee- emerald (im not sure why they made the name emerald when it is a blue glitter and emerald is green?) and a 2 way nail art pen and brush thats like a blue glitter but it doesnt have a name. Then for the snow flake I used a white Stripe Rite and the silver glitter is a 2 way nail art pen and brush.  For the fading all you do is sponge it on but the more layers you do the further to the tip you go. Its just a lot of layering but when you sponge nail polish on especially glitter it dries faster!

Fashionable Friday! Snow flakes

Its Fashionable Friday again!! I did snow flakes what I did is painted a base coat then I picked a base color I chose a blue nail polish which is Piggy Polish: blue me a kiss then I did the snow flakes with a white Stripe Rite. I made an X then made another line going across and up and down it. Then where a snow flake wouldnt fit I put some dots as snow with Sally Hansen Xtreme wear: white on but over the dots of white I put silver glitter that was Pure Ice: beware. I used a dotting tool to do the dots but you could use a tooth pick or a bobby pin. Then put a top coat and was done. http://craftymommydiva.blogspot.com/ is who I am doing this Fashionable Friday for! She is so good at all the different crafts she does and she also has another blog for scrap books! Which is also amazing! http://www.scrappy-gifts.com/. Hope you like it and go check her out!
