Fashionable Friday!

This is my first blog post for Crafty Mommy Divas Fashionable Fridays!! Its going to be the first Friday of every month. So what I used was Sally Hansen hard as nails sheer vanilla (3 coats) and then I mixed sheer vanilla with an Avon thats a really light sheer pink but Avon doesnt sell it anymore and an Avon sheer french pink (1 coat or that mixed nail polish). To do the tips I used a Stripe rite to outline the smile line then filled it in with 2 coats of Sinful colors snow me white then I went back with the Stripe rite to do touch ups. For the flower I used Sinful colors pink forever and Essence no more drama. To do the flower you do 5 dots (I used a dotting tool but you can use a toothpick). Wait for it to get tacky then drag from the outside to the middle. Then make another dot in the center of the petals. Add a top coat and your done! I showed all my nails because I just cut them and wanted to show how short all of them are. (:

My nails are zebra print with a purple with purple glitter and a blue line going down the middle. I used Sinful colors snow me white for the white back round. The main purple color was Fashion bug wisteria and the glitter over that is Sinful colors frenzy. The striper for the black zebra stripes is a stripe rite. The blue for the line in the middle is a Sinful colors nail art in lagoon. (:

Pink back round with a black bow

I did a bow on my nails with 3 dots in the corner. The pink I used was NYC fuchsia shock creme. The white is Sinful colors snow me white the black striper I used was a stripe rite. For the black dots I used Rimmle London in black satin. I took pictures on how to make the bow but I didnt take a picture of the rest I forgot lol but i got most of it. 1st you make 2 lines then connect one line with the opposite line. 2nd fill it in the bow and touch it up. 3rd make 2 lines like robin-ish things coming out from the middle. 4th make a dot in the middle then I made 3 dots in the corner. Put a top coat over all that but always start out with a base coat first.

Leopard nails

I did leopard print its going up the side of my nails and there is a line lining the leopard print. For the back round color I used 1 coat of Insta-dri quick sand then 2 coats of Ulta professional in 14 carat. For the brown in the spots I mixed a 2 was nail art pen and brush in like a dark brown color. Then I outlined it in black with Rimmle London black satin. The glitter I outlined the spots in was with an Art deco gold glitter. Put a top coat and I was done! For the leopard spots you could do the brown dot-ish things then outline it in black (thats what I did) or you can do the black lines then put a dot-ish shape in the outline I think thats harder but some people find it easier. To out line it I used a lead pencil and a doting tool for the dot-ish shapes. Hope that helped!

Blue fading star

I did this today its a fading back round with some glitter and a star on my ring fingers. The first thing I did in the back round was 1 coat or Ulta alter ego then I sponged it with Ulta black dress and added a little bit of black on top with Rimmle London black satin. To blend the line from the dark blue to the lighter blue I sponged over the black dress color with alter ego. It looked better without the glitter to me but it looks fine either way but for the glitter I used Sally Hansen diamonds. The big round glitters I used are from Cover girl in disco dazzle. The star is with a silver stripe rite.

Pink glittery shooting star

I did this yesterday I did 2 coats of Sally Hansen bubble gum then I painted the star with the Rimmle french tip pro french white nail art tip liner I also mad those 3 lines on the side. Then I put 1 coat or Sinful colors UFO and 1 coat of Sally Hansens diamonds. I out lined the star after I put all that in an Art deco intense pink I put 3 pink lines next to the white ones.

Heather's rainbows!

Heather painted her nails!! I think she did a really good job and its so cute!! She used Art Deco's in magenta, red, bright green and bright orange. 2 Sinful color nail art's in lagoon and morning breath. On top of all that she put Sally Hansen diamonds.

Black and white feathers

This was a very easy design to do all you do is flick the brush out when you finish the line. I used Sally Hansen HD in byte. For the black and white I used a stripe right. For the silver glitter I used a 2 way nail art pen and brush.

Neon fading with zebra print

Yay! My first picture tutorial! So the look is in the first and last picture we start this at the the 2nd picture you paint your nail all white (sinful colors snow me white) then sponge it with neon yellow (china glaze yellow polka dot bikini) then sponge it with a neon orange (sinful colors summer peach) then a neon pink (sinful colors pink). To blend it out better you can put glitter or blend it with a clean nail polish. When that dries I started my zebra print only diagonally across my nail using a black stripe rite . I start out with one line and then make a Y off of that and do random lines and Y's. I added some silver glitter to the zebra print took off the nail polish around my nail/cuticle. Added a top coat over all that and done.  make sure Hope this helps!
